51:44

but they disobeyed the commandment of their Lord; consequently they were overtaken by the thunderbolt even while they were looking on.
Meaning:-
Thunderbolt: a flash of lightning with a simultaneous crash of thunder.

51:59

Surely those who are wrongdoers, shall have their portion of torment similar to the portion of their predecessors; so let them not challenge Me to hurry it on.
Meaning:-
wrongdoers: criminal, a person who behaves illegally, or dishonestly; an offender.
Torment: severe physical or mental suffering.
Predecessors: an ancestor; forefather.

HARMING THE FRIEND’S OF ALLAH

“Whoever shows enmity to a slave of Mine (Allah’s) I shall be at war with him”
Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger Allah has cursed them in this world and in the hereafter. These are the Wali-Allah the Saints or was we would known them the Sufi masters
Meaning:-
Annoy: a little angry; irritate, harm or attack
Enmity: bitter hatred, a feeling of hate
Sufi: Seeking the pleasure of God; Love and peace with one’s self

Men wearing silk & gold

Prophet (saw) said, “Gold and silk have been permitted for the females of my nation and forbidden for its males” “Men who wears silk in this world will have no portion [of heavens] in the hereafter” He who wears silk on earth will never wear it in the Hereafter. however it is true that the Prophet (pbuh) permitted silk, only for those suffer itching with in four fingers measure, and he permitted using a tooth of gold also

SACRIFICING ANIMALS FOR OTHER THAN ALLAH

And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].(Ch 6, Ayah 121 )

“The one who sacrifices for other than Allah is cursed by Allah”

CLAIMING THAT SOMEBODY IS ONE’S FATHER WHILE THE CLAIMANT KNOWS IT IS NOT TRUE
“One who claims that someone is his father and knows that it is not true will be forbidden of paradise”

“NOT ALLOWING EXCESS WATER TO FLOW TO OTHERS”

Say (O Muhammad): “Have you ever considered that if all the water you have, sink down in the ground, who is it, that will bring you the clear-flowing water?” (Ch 67 V 30)

“Whoever doesn’t allow the access water or pasture for others will not share in the blessings of Allah on the day of judgment”
Do not forbid the overflow of water for you forbid grass. The Prophet also said : Do not sell the overflow of water. He also said : He who forbid his overflow of water or left over grass, Allah will forbid His mercy at the Day of Judgement on him

DEALING IN FRAUD”

Ch 83 V 1Woe to those that deal in fraud,-
Meaning:-
Woe: great sorrow or distress.

Ch 83 V 2:  Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure,

Ch 83 V 3:  And when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due.

Ch 83 V 4:  Do they not think that they will be raised to life again

50:1

Qaf. [These letters (Qaf, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the Glorious Quran.

50:2

But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner (Muhammad) from among themselves. So the unbelievers say: “This is a indeed very strange
Meaning:-
Wonder: something that is surprising or hard to believe.

50:5

Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong).

50:6

Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it?
Meaning:-
Adorn: make more beautiful or attractive.
Flaw: defect, fault, mistake, imperfection.

50:7

And the earth, how We have spread it out and set upon it mountains and caused to grow in it every kind of beautiful vegetation.

50:11

a sustenance for the servants; thereby giving new life to dead land. That is how the resurrection will be of the dead from the earth.
Meaning:-
Sustenance: food and drink regarded as a source of strength; nourishment.

50:12

Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud,
Meaning:-
Rass (also spelled Ar Rass, AlRass, or Al-Ras; Arabic): is a Saudi Arabian town, located in the Al Qassim Province.

50:14

the residents of the Forest, and the people of Tubba’. Each rejected ˹their˺ messenger, so My warning was fulfilled.
Meaning:-
the residents of the Forest: The people of Shu’aib
People of Tubb: Tubba’ Al-Ḥimiari was an ancient righteous Yemeni king whose people persisted in disbelief and were destroyed, although they were superior to the Meccans in strength and manpower

50:16

Indeed, ˹it is˺ We ˹Who˺ created humankind and ˹fully˺ know what their souls whisper to them, and We are closer to them than ˹their˺ jugular vein.
Meaning:-
whisper: to speak very quietly, using the breath but not the voice
jugular vein: The jugular veins are in the neck and drain blood from the head, brain, face and neck and convey it toward the heart.
Understanding of the Ayat: Allah created man, and gave him his limited free-will. Allah knows the inmost desires and motives of man even better than man does himself. He is nearer to a man than the man’s own jugular vein. The jugular vein is the big trunk vein, one on each side of the neck, which brings the blood back from the head to the heart. The two jugular veins correspond to the two carotid arteries which carry the blood from the heart to the head. As the blood-stream is the vehicle of life and consciousness, the phrase “nearer than the jugular vein” implies that Allah knows more truly the innermost state of our feeling and consciousness than does our own ego.

50:17

Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left.

50:19

When the stupor of death will bring the truth before his eyes, they will say: “This is what you were trying to escape!”
Meaning:-
stupor: a state of near-unconsciousness or insensibility.

50:22

[It will be said], “You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp.”

50:24

(And it will be said): “Both of you throw (Order from Allah to the two angels) into Hell, every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allah, in His Messengers, etc.).

50:25

every opponent of good, and every doubting transgressor
Meaning:-
Transgressor: a person who is actually breaking the law, offend; sin.

50:27

His companion (Satan devil)] will say: “Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray.”
Meaning:-
Transgress: to violate a law, command, moral code, etc.; offend; sin.
Astray: into error, away from the correct path or direction

50:32

(A voice will say:) “This is what was promised for you,- for every one who turned (to Allah) in sincere repentance, who kept (His Law),

50:33

who feared the Compassionate (Allah) without seeing Him and come before Him with a devoted heart.”
Meaning:-
Devoted: extremely loving and loyal

50:34

Allah will say: “Enter it in peace; this is the Day of Eternal Life!”
Meaning:-
Eternal: permanent, everlasting, timeless, never-ending, nonstop.

50:36

How many generations, far stronger in power, have We destroyed before them! They searched the entire land: but could they find any refuge?
Meaning:-
Refuge: shelter, protection, safety, security, asylum.

50:38

And indeed We already created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days, and in no way has any fatigue touched Us.
Meaning:-
Fatigue: tiredness, weariness, sleepiness, drowsiness, exhaust

50:40

And during a part of the night (also), glorify His praises (i.e. Maghrib and ‘Isha prayers), and (so likewise) after the prayers [As-Sunnah, Nawafil optional and additional prayers, and also glorify, praise and magnify Allah – Subhan Allah, Alhamdu lillah, Allahu-Akbar].

50:42

the Day when the people will hear the mighty blast in reality; that will be the Day of coming forth (the dead will rise from their graves).

50:45

We know of best what they say; and you (O Muhammad) are not a tyrant over them (to force them to Belief). But warn by the Quran, him who fears My Threat.
Meaning:-
Tyrant: dictator, a cruel and oppressive ruler.

49:2

O believers! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud when talking to him as you speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds should come to nothing while you do not even perceive it.

49:3

Those who lower their voices and speak softly in the presence of Allah’s Messenger are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for piety; they shall have forgiveness and a great reward.

49:6

O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.

49:7

And know that, among you there is the Messenger of Allah (SAW). If he were to obey you (i.e. follow your opinions and desires) in much of the matter, you would surely be in trouble, but Allah has endeared the Faith to you and has beautified it in your hearts, and has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience (to Allah and His Messenger SAW) hateful to you. These! They are the rightly guided ones,
Meaning:-
Endear: cause to be loved or liked.
Wickedness: the quality of being evil or morally wrong.

49:9

If two parties among the believers fall into mutual fighting, make peace between them. Then if one of them transgresses against the other, fight the one who has transgressed until he returns to the commands of Allah. Then, if he returns, make peace between them with justice and be fair; for Allah loves those who are fair and just.
Meaning:-
Transgress: violation of a law, misbehave, wrongdoing, misdeed, sin.

49:11

O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one’s] faith. And whoever does not repent – then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
Meaning:-
Ridicule: make fun of, to make others joke about or laugh at someone.
Wretched: harsh, hard, unhappy, extremely bad or distressing
Wrongdoer: criminal, a person who behaves illegally, or dishonestly; an offender.

49:12

O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would hate it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

49:13

O mankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes that you might get to know one another. Surely the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is he who is the most righteous. Allah is All-Knowledgeable, All-Aware.
Meaning:-
Righteous: (of a person or conduct) morally right or justifiable; virtuous, very good; excellent.

49:14

The desert Arabs say, “We believe.” Say, “Ye have no faith; but ye (only)say, ‘We have submitted our wills to Allah,’ For not yet has Faith entered your hearts. But if ye obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught of your deeds: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

49:15

The true believers are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger, then never doubt; and make Jihad (exert their efforts) with their wealth and their persons in the cause of Allah. Such are the ones who are truthful in their claim to be the believers.
Meaning:-
Jihad (Arabic): the spiritual struggle within oneself against sin.

49:17

They consider it a favor to you (O Muhammad) that they have accepted Islam. Say, “Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful.”
Meaning:-
Conferred: honor with, award to, to bestow upon as a gift

48:4

It was He who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers, so that they may add more faith to their Faith. To Allah belong the forces of the heavens and the earth. Allah is All-Knowledgeable, All-Wise.
Meaning:-
Tranquility: peacefulness, restfulness.

48:5

He has caused you to do as you have done, so that He may admit the believing men and believing women into the gardens beneath which rivers flow, to live therein forever and remove their ills from them; and that is the highest achievement for men in the sight of Allah.
Meaning:-
Beneath: below; in or to a lower place, position, underneath

48:6

And [that] He may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the polytheist men and polytheist women – those who assume about Allah an assumption of evil nature. Upon them is a misfortune of evil nature; and Allah has become angry with them and has cursed them and prepared for them Hell, and evil it is as a destination.
Meaning:-
Hypocrite: a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion.
Polytheist: belief in more than one god or in many gods.

48:10

Surely those who swore allegiance to you O Prophet, indeed swore allegiance to Allah Himself. The Hand of Allah was above their hands. Now, the one who will break his pledge, will break it at his own peril, and the one who will keep his pledge that he has made with Allah, shall soon be given a great rewarded by Him.
Meaning:-
Allegiance: loyalty, faithfulness.
Pledge: promise, undertaking, vow, word of honor, oath.
Peril: danger, jeopardy, risk.

48:11

The beduin Arabs who stayed behind will soon say to you: “Our goods and families kept us occupied, so please ask forgiveness for us.” They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Tell them: “Who can intervene on your behalf with Allah if it be His will to do you harm or He pleases to do you good? Allah is well aware of your actions.
Meaning:-
Beduin: an Arab of the desert.
Intervene: to interfere, to come between, interrupt.

48:12

But you thought that the Messenger and the believers would never return to their families, ever, and that was made pleasing in your hearts. And you assumed an assumption of evil and became a people ruined.”
Meaning:-
Ruined: Destroyed, collapsed

48:14

To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth: He forgives whom He pleases and He punishes whom He wills. Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

48:15

When you set forth to take the spoils of war, those who stayed behind will say: “Let us come with you.” They wish to change Allah’s decree. Tell them plainly: “You shall not come with us. Allah has already said this before.” Then they will say: “Nay! But you are jealous of us.” Whereas there is no question of jealousy, but little do they understand such things.

48:16

Tell the beduin Arabs who stayed behind: “You shall soon be called upon to fight against a mighty people then either you will fight or they will embrace Islam. Then if you obey, Allah will grant you a good reward, but if you turn away as you have done before, He will inflict on you a painful penalty.”
Meaning:-
Beduin: a member of an Arab people living in or near the desert.
Inflict: impose, force

48:17

There is not upon the blind any guilt or upon the lame any guilt or upon the ill any guilt [for remaining behind]. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger – He will admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow; but whoever turns away – He will punish him with a painful punishment.
Meaning:-
Beneath: below; in or to a lower place, position, underneath

48:18

Allah was well pleased with the believers when they swore allegiance to you under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquillity upon them and He rewarded them with a speedy victory,
Meaning:-
Allegiance: loyalty, faithfulness.
Tranquility: peacefulness, restfulness.

48:19

And much war booty which they will take. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.
Booty: valuable stolen goods, especially those seized in war.
Meaning:-
Exalted: placed at a high or powerful level; held in high regard.

48:20

Allah has promised you much booty that you will take [in the future] and has hastened for you this [victory] and withheld the hands of people from you – that it may be a sign for the believers and [that] He may guide you to a straight path.
Meaning:-
Booty: valuable stolen goods, especially those seized in war.

48:21

Besides, He promises you other spoils as well, which are not yet within your reach but Allah has surely encompassed them. Allah has power over everything.
Meaning:-
Spoils: Often, spoils. booty, loot, or plunder taken in war.

48:22

And if those [Makkans] who disbelieve had fought you, they would have turned their backs [in flight]. Then they would not find a protector or a helper.

48:24

And He it is Who held back their hands from you and your hands from them in the valley of Mecca after He had given you victory over them; and Allah is Seeing what you do.

48:25

They are the ones who disbelieved and obstructed you from the Masjid-al-Haram (Sacred Mosque – Ka’bah) and prevented your offerings from reaching their destination. Had there not been believing men and believing women in the city of Makkah, whom you did not know, and their possibility of being trampled under your feet and thus incurred unwitting guilt on their account. Allah would have allowed you to fight, but He held back your hands, so that He may admit to His mercy whom He will. Had the believers stood apart from them, We would certainly have punished the disbelievers among them with painful punishment.
Meaning:-
Obstruct: to block or close up with an obstacle; make difficult to pass:
Trample: tread on and crush.
Unwitting: unintentional, unintended,

48:26

While the unbelievers set up in their hearts the arrogance, the arrogance of ignorance, Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and the believers and made the believers to adhere to the word of piety; for they were most worthy and deserving of it. Allah has full knowledge of everything.
Meaning:-
Arrogance: an insulting way of thinking or behaving that comes from believing that you are better, smarter, or more important than other people
Ignorance: lack of knowledge or information.
Tranquility: peacefulness, restfulness.
Adhere: believe in and follow the practices of.

48:27

Indeed Allah has in all truth shown the vision to His Messenger, that, Allah willing, you shall enter the Masjid-al-Haram (Ka’bah) fearless and secure to perform Umrah or Hajj and some having their heads shaved and others having their hair cut, for He knows what you do not know. So, He granted you a near victory before the fulfillment of that vision.

48:29

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah ; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces (foreheads) from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah (Taurat) . And their description in the Gospel (Injeel) is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers – so that Allah may enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward.
Meaning:-
Prostrating: lying face down on the ground.
Bounty: generosity; liberality, a monetary gift or reward.
Sower: to scatter or place (seed, a crop, etc) in or on (a piece of ground, field, etc) so that it may grow
Enrage: make very angry.
Righteous: (of a person or conduct) morally right or justifiable; virtuous, very good; excellent.

47:2

As for those who believe and do good deeds and believe in what is revealed to Muhammad – the truth from their Lord – He will remove from them their evils and improve their condition.

47:3

That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah present to the people their comparisons.
Meaning:-
Falsehood: lie, untruth

47:4

So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates. That (shall be so); and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have exacted what is due from them, but that He may try some of you by means of others; and (as for) those who are killed in the way of Allah, He will by no means allow their deeds to perish.
Meaning:-
Smite: to strike
Perish: disappear, vanish,

47:10

Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable.

47:12

Surely Allah will admit those who believe and do good deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. While those who are unbelievers, they are to enjoy only this life and eat as cattle eat; but in the hereafter, the fire shall be their abode.
Meaning:-
Beneath: below; in or to a lower place, position, underneath
Abode: a place in which a person resides, home,

47:15

Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?
Meaning:-
Righteous: virtuous, very good; excellent.
Abide: to remain; continue; stay.
Eternally: without beginning or end; lasting forever
Scalding: very hot; burning.

47:16

And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, “What has he said just now?” Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.

47:18

Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of] its indications. Then what good to them, when it has come, will be their remembrance?

47:19

Therefore, you should know that there is no god but Allah; implore Him to forgive your sins and to forgive the believing men and believing women; for Allah knows your activities and your resting places.
Meaning:-
Implore: beg, appeal to, ask, request.

47:20

The believers were asking: “Why is not a Surah revealed allowing us to fight?” But when a decisive Surah carrying the order of allowing them to fight is revealed, you saw those in whose hearts was a disease looking at you like the one under the shadow of death. Woe to them!
Meaning:-
Decisive: producing a definite result.
Woe: great sorrow or distress.

47:22

Would you then, if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land, and sever your ties of kinship?
Meaning:-
Sever: to break off or dissolve (ties, relations, etc.).
Kinship: blood relationship, family relationship.

47:25

Those who turn back to unbelief after the guidance has become clear are seduced by Shaitan who gives them false hopes.
Meaning:-
Seduced: Tempt, attract powerfully.

47:26

This, because they said to those who hate what Allah has revealed, “We will obey you in part of (this) matter”; but Allah knows their (inner) secrets.

47:27

Then how (will it be) when the angels will take their souls at death, smiting their faces and their backs?
Meaning:-
Smiting: to strike or hit hard, with or as with the hand, a stick, or other weapon:

47:29

Or do those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy), think that Allah will not bring to light all their hidden ill-wills?
Meaning:-
Hypocrisy: the behavior of people who do things that they tell other people not to do

47:30

Had We so pleased, We could have pointed them out to you and you would have recognized them promptly by their faces. But you will surely know them by the tone of their speech. Allah knows all of your actions.

47:31

And surely, We shall try you till We test those who strive hard (for the Cause of Allah) and the patient ones, and We shall test your facts (i.e. the one who is a liar, and the one who is truthful).

47:32

Surely those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah’s way and oppose the Messenger after that guidance has become clear to them cannot harm Allah in any way, and He will make their deeds fruitless.

47:35

So be not weak and ask not for peace (from the enemies of Islam), while you are having the upper hand. Allah is with you, and will never decrease the reward of your good deeds.

47:36

The life of this world is but play and pastime, but if you believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and fear Allah, and avoid evil, He will grant you your wages, and will not ask you your wealth.
Meaning:-
Monotheism: the doctrine or belief that there is only one God.

47:37

If He should ask you for it and urge you, you will be niggardly, and He would bring out all your ill-feeling.
Meaning:-
Niggardly: not generous; stingy.

47:38

Behold, you are those who are being asked to give in the cause of Allah. Yet some of you are stingy, whereas whoever is stingy to His cause, is in fact stingy to himself. Allah is self sufficient, it is you who are needy. If you turn away He will replace you by some other people; who will not be like you.
Meaning:-
Stingy: penny-pinching, miserly, niggardly, unwilling to give or spend; ungenerous.

46:3

We created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them to manifest the truth and to last for an appointed term. Yet the disbelievers give no heed to Our warning.
Meaning:-
Manifest: to make clear or obvious to the eye or mind or the understanding; show plainly

46:4

Say, [O Muhammad], “Have you considered that which you invoke besides Allah ? Show me what they have created of the earth; or did they have partnership in [creation of] the heavens? Bring me a scripture [revealed] before this or a [remaining] trace of knowledge, if you should be truthful.”
Meaning:-
Invokes: call on (a deity or spirit) in prayer, as a witness, or for inspiration.

46:5

And who could be more astray than the one who invokes those deities besides Allah who cannot answer him till the Day of Resurrection – which, in fact, are not even aware that they are being invoked?
Meaning:-
Deity: God; Supreme Being, like a god or goddess, Fake God.
Invokes:pray to, call on.

46:6

And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become enemies for them and will deny their worshipping.
Meaning:-
Deity: God; Supreme Being, like a god or goddess, Fake God.

46:8

Do they say that the Prophet has fabricated it himself? O Prophet, tell them: “If I have fabricated it myself, then there is nothing that you can do to protect me from the wrath of Allah. He knows fully well what you say about it. Enough is He as a witness between me and you. He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.”
Meaning:-
Fabricated: falsify, fake, invent or concoct (something), typically with deceitful intent.
Wrath: extreme anger

46:9

Say (O Muhammad):”I am not a new thing among the Messengers (of Allah) (i.e. I am not the first Messenger) nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am but a plain warner.”

46:10

Say: “Tell me! If this (Quran) is from Allah, and you deny it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel (‘Abdullah bin Salam) testifies that this Quran is from Allah [like the Taurat (Torah)], so he believed (embraced Islam) while you are too proud (to believe).” Verily! Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers and wrong-doing).
Meaning:-
Polytheist: belief in more than one god or in many gods.

46:11

The unbelievers say about the believers: “Had there been any good to believe in, this Qur’an, they would not have believed in it before us.” And since they reject its guidance, they say: “This is an ancient falsehood.”
Meaning:-
Ancient: of long ago, early, a very old
Falsehood: lie, untruth.

46:12

And before it was the scripture of Moses to lead and as a mercy. And this is a confirming Book (the Quran) in an Arabic language to warn those who have wronged and as good news to the doers of good.
Meaning:-
Doer: the person who does something.

46:13

Indeed, those who have said, “Our Lord is Allah ,” and then remained on a right course – there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

46:15

We have commanded people to treat his parents with kindness. With much trouble his mother bore him, and much pain did she give him birth. His bearing and his weaning took thirty months. When he reaches the age of full strength and becomes forty years old, he says: “My Lord! Grant me the grace that I may thank you for the favors which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good deeds that will please You, and grant me good children. Surely I turn to You in repentance and surely I am of those who are Muslims.”
Meaning:-
Weaning: to cause a baby to stop feeding on its mother’s milk and to start eating
Bestow: an honor, right, an honor, to present as a gift

46:16

Such are the people from whom We shall accept the best of their deeds and overlook their misdeeds. They shall be among the residents of paradise: true is the promise that has been made to them in this life.

46:17

But those who rebukes his parents and say: “Uff (as if to say, do not bothering me)! Do you threaten me with a resurrection, whereas many a generations have passed before me and none has come back from among them?” And they both cry for Allah’s help and say: “Woe to you! Be a good believer. Surely the promise of Allah is true.” But he replies: “This is nothing but tales of the ancients.”
Meaning:-
Rebukes: express sharp disapproval or criticism of (someone) because of their behavior or actions.
Woe: great sorrow or distress.
Ancient: of long ago, early, very old; aged:

46:20

And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire [it will be said], “You exhausted your pleasures during your worldly life and enjoyed them, so this Day you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation because you were arrogant upon the earth without right and because you were defiantly disobedient.”
Meaning:-
Arrogant: self-important, proud in an unpleasant, revealing an exaggerated sense of one’s own importance or abilities.

46:21

Tell them (O Muhammad) the story of ‘Ad’s brethren, the Prophet Hud, when he warned his people, the residents of Ahqaf (the curved sand-hills in the southern part of Arabian Peninsula) – in fact Warners came to them before him and after him – saying: “Worship none but Allah. Surely I fear for you the punishment of a mighty Day.”

46:22

They replied: “Have you come to turn us away from our gods? Bring us the torment that you threaten us with, if you are telling the truth.”
Meaning:-
Torment: great mental suffering and unhappiness, or great physical pain

46:23

The Prophet Hud said: “The Knowledge of when it is going to come is only with Allah. I am only conveying the Message with which I have been sent, however, I can see that you are ignorant people.”
Meaning:-
Ignorant: without knowledge of, unaware of, unfamiliar with, unacquainted with, uninformed about.

46:24

Then when they saw the torment in the shape of a cloud coming towards their valleys, they said: “This cloud will bring us rain.” – “Nay! It is what you were asking for, a fierce wind bringing you a woeful torment.
Meaning:-
Torment: great mental suffering and unhappiness, or great physical pain
Fierce: powerful, strong, violent, forceful;
Woeful: tragic, sad, tear-jerking, miserable.

46:25

It is going to destroy everything by the command of its Lord. Consequently by the morning, there was nothing to be seen except the ruins of their houses. Thus did We reward those guilty people.

46:26

We had established them much better than We have established you, O Qureysh of Makkah, and endowed them with the faculties of hearing, seeing, and intellect. Yet their faculties of hearing, sight and intellect avail them nothing since they denied the revelations of Allah; and they were completely hemmed in by the same thing that they used to mock at.
Meaning:-
Qureysh: Quresh were a powerful merchant tribe that controlled Mecca
Endow: favor, bless, grace, gift;
Faculty: power, capability, capacity,
hemmed: Caught, caught up, cornered, held up, trapped,
mock: to laugh at someone, often by copying them in a funny but unkind way, make fun of

46:27

We have destroyed the towns which were once flourished around you – and We repeatedly sent them Our revelations (verses) so that they may turn to the Right Way.
Meaning:-
Flourish: to grow or develop successfully:

46:28

Then Why did not those whom they worshipped besides Allah helped them who they regarded as a means of attaining nearness to Him? But those deities utterly forsake them, because those were nothing but their lies and their false inventions.
Meaning:-
Deities: fake gods, God; Supreme Being, like a god or goddess,

46:29

And [mention, O Muhammad], when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur’an. And when they attended it, they said, “Listen quietly.” And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners.

46:30

They said: “O our people! Verily! We have heard a Book (this Quran) sent down after Musa (Moses), confirming what came before it, it guides to the truth and to a Straight Path (i.e. Islam).

46:32

He that does not answer the one who is calling towards Allah, shall neither escape in the earth, nor shall have any to protect from Him. Surely such people are in manifest error.”
Meaning:-
Manifest: to make clear or obvious to the eye or mind or the understanding; show plainly

46:33

Do they not see that Allah , who created the heavens and earth and did not fail in their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yes. Indeed, He is over all things

46:34

On the Day when the unbelievers will be brought before the fire, Allah will ask: “Is this not real?” “Yes, by our Lord!” They will answer. “Well, then taste the punishment now,” Will He reply, “in consequence of your disbelieve.”

45:5

and in the alternation of night and day, in the sustenance that Allah sends down from heaven with which He revives the earth after its death and in the changing of the winds, there are signs for those who use their common sense.
Meaning:-
Sustenance: food and drink regarded as a source of strength; nourishment.

45:8

Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.
Meaning:-
Persist: continue, remain, keep on
Arrogant: self-important, proud in an unpleasant, revealing an exaggerated sense of one’s own importance or abilities.

45:10

Beyond them there lies hell, and nothing of what they have earned in this world will be of any benefit to them, nor those whom they have taken as their protectors besides Allah, and they shall have grievous punishment.
Meaning:-
Grievous: grave, very serious or severe.

45:12

It is Allah Who has subjected the sea to you, so that ships may sail upon it by His command, and that you may seek His bounty and be grateful to Him.
Meaning:-
Bounty: generosity; liberality, a monetary gift or reward.

45:16

And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.

45:17

And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them – out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

45:19

Surely they shall not avail you in the least against Allah; and surely the unjust are friends of each other, and Allah is the guardian of those who guard (against evil).

45:21

Or do those who earn evil deeds think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, in their present life and after their death? Worst is the judgement that they make.
Meaning:-
Monotheism: the doctrine or belief that there is only one God.
Righteous: (of a person or conduct) morally right or justifiable; virtuous, very good; excellent.

45:22

Allah has created the heavens and the earth to manifest the truth, and to reward each soul according to its deeds, and none of them shall be wronged.
Meaning:-
Manifest: to make clear or obvious to the eye or mind or the understanding; show plainly

45:23

Have you considered the case of such an individual who has made his own desires as his god, and Allah having knowledge let him go astray, and sealed his hearing and heart and drew a veil over his sight? Who is there to guide him after Allah has withdrawn His guidance? Will you not learn a lesson?
Meaning:-
Astray: into error, away from the correct path or direction
Veil: cover, shield.

45:24

The disbelievers say: “There is nothing but the life of this world? We live and die; nothing but time destroys us.” In fact, they have no knowledge concerning this. They are only assuming..

45:26

O Prophet tell them: “It is Allah Who gives you life and later causes you to die; then it is He Who will gather you all on the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt, yet most people do not understand.”

45:31

But as to those who disbelieved, Allah will say: “Were My verses not recited to you? But you showed arrogance and became a people of criminals”.
Meaning:-
Arrogant: self-important, proud in an unpleasant, revealing an exaggerated sense of one’s own importance or abilities.

45:32

When it was said, “the promise of Allah is true and the Hour of Judgement is sure to come. You used to say, `We don’t know what the Hour of Judgement is: we think it is just a conjecture, we are not convinced.'”
Meaning:-
Conjecture: assumption, guesswork.

45:33

Then the evil of their deeds will become manifest to them, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at.
Meaning:-
Manifest: to make clear or obvious to the eye or mind or the understanding; show plainly
Mock: to laugh at someone, often by copying them in a funny but unkind way, make fun of

45:35

This is because you used to take Allah’s revelations (this Quran) as a joke and you let the worldly life deceive you.” Therefore, on this Day neither they shall be taken out of hell, nor shall they be given a chance for amending their ways to please their Lord.
Meaning:-
Amending: rectify, to modify, rephrase, make better; improve.

44:16

The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution.
Meaning:-
Assault: a violent attack
Retribution: the distribution of rewards and punishments in a future life

44:31

From Fir’aun (Pharaoh). Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors.
Meaning:-
Haughty: proud, self-important, arrogantly superior and disdainful.
Transgressors: a person who is actually breaking the law, offend; sin.

44:53

Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other.
Meaning:-
Brocade: usually silk, a rich silk fabric with raised patterns in gold and silver.

DISBELIEVING FAITH

Ibn Abbas narrates that the Angel Jibril once asked the Prophet: “Tell me what is Iman (Faith)?” The Prophet replied: “Iman is to believe in Allah, the Day of Judgment, His (Allah’s) Angels, Books and Prophets and to believe in life after death; and to believe in Paradise and the Fire, and the setting up of the Mizan (scales) to weigh the deeds; and to believe in the Divine Decree, the good and the bad of it (all). Jibril then asked him: “If I do all this will I be with Iman?” The Prophet said: “When you have done all of this, you will be having Iman (Faith).”

EATING CARRION, BLOOD OR PORK MEAT

CH:6 V:145: O Muhammad tell them: I did not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, except the meat of an already dead animal, or running blood or the flesh of swine (pork) – for these are unclean – or flesh of an animal which has become profane because of slaughtering in the names other than Allah. Even so, if anyone is forced in a helpless situation, intending neither disobedience nor transgression, you will find your Lord Forgiving, Merciful.
Meaning:-
Carrion: the decaying flesh of dead animals.
Profane: showing no respect for a god or a religion,
slaughter: the killing or butchering of cattle, sheep, etc., especially for food.
Transgression : to violate a law, command, moral code, etc.; offend; sin.

Despairing from Allah’s Help or forgiveness

Ch 39 V53: Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”
Meaning:-
Transgress: violation of a law, misbehave, wrongdoing, misdeed, sin.
Despair: the complete loss or absence of hope.

CONTINUALLY NOT PERFORMING THE FRIDAY PRAYERS AND CONGREGATIONAL PRAYERS WITHOUT ANY VALID EXCUSE

Prophet (saw) said, “If people don’t stop abandoning the Friday Prayers Allah may seal their hearts and they will become headless” “Whoever hears the call to prayer and doesn’t come to prayer, there is no prayer for him say for the one who has valid excuse
Meaning:-
Abandon: to give up; discontinue; withdraw from:

PREACHING ERROR OR ESTABLISHING ERRORS

He who preaches for error will bear his sin and all of those who follow him, decreasing no their sins. The Prophet also said : He who preaches for error will bear his sin and of those who follow him, with no decreasing for their sins. The Prophet also said : every new established thing is an error In religion.

BEING DECEIVING AND PLOTTING EVIL

35:43: Behaving arrogantly in the land and plotting evil, whereas the plotting of evil recoils none but the authors of it. Are they awaiting for that end which overtook the former nations? If so, you shall find no change in the ways of Allah, nor will you find any alteration in Allah’s way of dealing.
Meaning:-
Recoils: suddenly spring or flinch back in fear, horror, or disgust, Jump back, pull back;

“ABUSING OR REVILING ANYONE OF THE COMPANIONS OF THE PROPHET (saw)”

“Do not revile my companions for, by the one in whose hands is my soul, if you were to spend in charity a mountain of gold similar to mount Uhud it would not be equal to a handful or a half a handful (or what they have done)” Ref: (Sahih al-Jami # 7187)
Meaning:-
Revile: Condemn, attack, Criticize in an abusive or angrily insulting manner.
